Chapter Leadership

Doug Hurley

Doug is a pastor and the owner of RethinkWork Consulting and Coaching. He is passionate about inspiring business leaders to become the best leader they can be; to help them have transformational impact for their career and workplace. Doug also served as a Special Operations soldier, officer, and pilot in the U.S. Army. He graduated from Ohio University with a B.A. in Communication and Political Science; has two master’s degrees (one from Austin Peay State University and the other from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School); and he has a doctorate in leadership and spiritual formation from Portland Seminary. Doug and his wife Janie have been married for almost two decades. They have three awesome children that are eleven and younger.

Matt Rogie

Matt is the owner and founder of Thriving on Mission, a leadership consulting firm based in Savannah, Georgia. Matt has over a decade of experience as a cross-cultural missionary and coach and a 22-year career as a special operations helicopter pilot in the U.S. Army. He holds a B.S. and M.S. in Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle University. Matt and his wife, Stacie, have been married for almost 30 years and have one son and daughter-in-law who reside in Houston, Texas. Matt & his wife attend Compassion Christian Church in Savannah, Georgia.

Jesse Stanley

Jesse works with some of the world’s most influential organizations helping them protect what matters most. As Managing Principal of Strongside Principles, he works with private, public, and ministry organizations, training, speaking, and developing content on influence, disruptive behaviors, and leadership. Dedicated to seeing men grow closer to God, Jesse serves two men’s ministries, Souly Business and Ironmen of God. Jesse holds designations as a CPP, a CFI, and an Economics degree from Cal State in Long Beach. He and his wife, Christine, live near Orlando, Florida, are parents to four sons and a daughter, and look forward to grandchildren.

Aaron Ellinger

Aaron has held executive leadership roles at technology firms for the past 20 years, including his most recent role as Vice President of Organizational Development at software company RF-SMART. A certified Executive Coach, Aaron equips leaders, teams, and organizations through executive coaching and strategic consulting, as the head of Aaron Ellinger Coaching and Consulting, LLC. He graduated from Taylor University, a small Christian college in Indiana. Aaron is married to Courtney and lives in Jacksonville, Florida. They have four adult children and two high-energy golden retrievers. Aaron volunteers and has filled a variety of roles at Access Church, from being on-stage to host adult worship services, to leading a high school boys’ small group, to teaching elementary school children.

Brad Gerdeman

Over the last 30 years Brad has held executive leadership roles corporately and as a consultant, helping over 50 businesses, organizations, and ministries to define their future and connect with the audiences they serve. He is involved with many aspects of Cloudwalk Ministries, including God’s HOME, a ‘thin space’ where anyone who seeks a deeper, personal relationship with our Triune God is invited to enter God’s presence in the silence of 200 acres in North Georgia. Brad’s faith journey integrates teachings from a diverse group of ministries, mystics, churches, and contemplative practices. Brad and his wife, Carolina, live in Atlanta with their three daughters.      

Stuart Foster

Stuart is a follower of Jesus and serves in the construction space, building teams and developing vision. He graduated from Georgia Tech with a civil engineering degree and has worked with multinational companies as well as localized small businesses. His primary passion is to encourage people to find their true identity in Christ. Stuart is married to Heather. He is a father to 5 amazing children and a proud grandfather.

Chauncey Fagler

Chauncey has led the Florida College System Risk Management Consortium (FCSRMC) as its Executive Director and Chief Risk Officer since 2007. Prior to joining FCSRMC, he worked in the financial sector and in specialty retail management. Chauncey was a division one swimmer at the University of Florida. He is married to Rose and has two beautiful daughters, Sarah and Lauren, a son-in-law, Russell VanLandingham, and a beautiful granddaughter, Reese.



David Foster

David is the Director of Administration for aerospace startup Zulu Pods, Inc. and President of Sportfish Marina Resort. He holds a Computer Science degree from Rollins College, and started his entrepreneurial journey by co-founding a medical device startup as CTO. His career has spanned multiple seats across the C-suite in a variety of industries, most recently as Chief Administrative Officer of Goods & Services, a brand experience agency based in Atlanta. He finds joy in building companies through the meaningful and effective growth of the people involved as a servant leader and ambassador for Christ. David is an avid spearfisherman and freediver, and serves as treasurer for the Martin County chapter of the Coastal Conservation Association.

Matt Tortora

Matt is the managing partner of Good Life Organic Kitchen, a restaurant focused on making local and organic food delicious, healthy, and affordable. He and his wife Erin manage a real estate investment company on Amelia Island and love to serve the needy with their daughters Kara and Noel. Previously, Matt served in the US Navy with deployments on submarines and Afghanistan. After earning his BA from Johnson & Wales University in food service management/entrepreneurship, he founded a software company called Crave Food Systems in 2014.
